From start to finish, we’re here to help make your home education experience as smooth as possible.

Just follow these 5 simple steps to get started!

1. Register

So you’ve decided to join TEACH, that’s great! Simply start your membership by visiting shop.christian.education and we’ll be in touch to help you get started!

2. Training

Before you start your children on the ACE curriculum, we ask that you complete our TEACH Parent Training PACE. This will be posted to you with the TEACH Handbook when you sign up and will help you learn everything you need to know about home educating with ACE.

3. Diagnostics

When you sign up, we will also explain where your children can take diagnostic testing online for free, which will mean they start at a level specific to their individual abilities.

4. Begin!

All done! We will send you a training certificate, and create a diagnostic prescription specific to each child, so you know exactly what materials to order. And you’re on your way!

5. Any Questions?

In order to start your TEACH membership, there are three simple steps to follow:
  1. Create an account or sign in to our web shop. This is where you'll place your orders for curriculum.
  2. Fill out the membership form with your details, we'll automatically create your account for you!
  3. Start your TEACH membership, either £160 a year or £15 a month.

Students aged 14 or older

If you have any children aged 14 or older, we recommend speaking with one of our team before signing up. Email us on teach@christian.education or call our offices to speak with someone.

​​Pricing

Home education is not an easy choice for any family to consider, and costs are usually a big factor. The ACE programme is structured so that you can purchase as little or as much of the materials in a year so you want. Some families purchase a few PACEs at a time, some buy a whole year's worth, it's really up to you!


The pricing below is split by level (each level takes roughly an academic year to complete). Based on a student working through six ACE subjects, we would estimate the cost to be between £450-600 per year per student. These costs are lower for subsequent children (around £350-400 per year), as the score keys and reading books can be reused. 


Please note that all of these prices take into account the 20% discount that TEACH members receive. The price that is shown on shop.christian.education does not include this discount until you have joined TEACH and completed your parent training. ICCE registration fees are applicable from level 8 onwards.

Levels 1-4

The subjects available at levels 1-3 are: 

  • Maths
  • English
  • Social Studies
  • Science
  • Word Building
  • Literature & Creative Writing (Levels 2-6)
  • Bible Reading (Levels 1-6)
  • Animal Science (Levels 1-2)

PACEs are priced at £4.04 each, so a year's worth of PACEs is £48.48 per subject.

Literature & Creative Writing also requires two reading books at level 3 (£18.32), and six for level 4 (£58.24). A complete breakdown of the Literature course can be found at https://shop.christian.education/pages/literature-books.

Levels 5-7

The subjects available at levels 5-7 are: 

  • Maths
  • English
  • Social Studies*
  • Science
  • Word Building
  • Literature & Creative Writing (Levels 2-6)
  • Basic Literature (Levels 7-9)
  • Bible Reading (Levels 1-6)

PACEs are priced at £4.55 each, so a year's worth of PACEs is £54.60 per subject.

*Social Studies level 7 consists of six PACEs focusing on Careers (£27.30), and the British Constitution PACE set (£16.38).


A Basic Literature PACE costs £4.78 each (Literature 9 is £6.58). Each level is covered by a single workbook, so Basic Literature 7 covers the PACE numbers 1073-1084. Each workbook separates into multiple PACEs, e.g. Basic Literature 8 will separate into PACE 86, 88, 90, 92, 94, and 96. A complete breakdown of the Literature course can be found at https://shop.christian.education/pages/literature-books. Each resource book is priced individually (see Required Resources below).

Levels 8-12

The subjects available at levels 8-12 are:

PACEs are priced at £5.04 each, so a year's worth of PACEs is £60.48 per subject.

*For Social Studies level 8, students can either study British & European History (£120.96), or American History (£60.48) - coming soon. The higher cost of British & European History is because this course contains separate reading PACEs and activity pacs.

Score Keys and Required Resources
Score Keys are an intrinsic part of the ACE programme. Through the process of checking and scoring up until the Test, students are taught to assess the quality of their own work on a daily basis. Score Keys cost the same as the PACEs as per the above levels:
  • Levels 1-4: £4.04 (£48.48 per subject per year - please see exceptions below)
  • Levels 5-7: £4.55 (£18.20 per subject per year)
  • Levels 8-12: £5.04 (£20.16 per subject per year)
Please note the following exceptions:
  • There are no Score Keys for level 1 of Bible Reading & Animal Science.
  • The Score Keys for Literature & Creative Writing, Bible Reading, and Animal Science contain the answers for three PACEs throughout (£16.16 per subject).
  • Level 3: the Score Keys for Social Studies and Science contain the answers for three PACEs (£16.16 per subject per year).
  • Levels 4-12: all Score Keys contain the answers for three PACEs, meaning you only need to purchase four score keys for every twelve PACEs (see above pricing for Levels 5-7, 8-12). The only exceptions to this are Maths 36 and 48 and Social Studies 36.

Required Resources for Literature consists of reading books that accompany the PACEs for Literature & Creative Writing, and Basic Literature. A complete breakdown of the Literature course can be found at https://shop.christian.education/pages/literature-books.
  • Level 3: £18.32

  • Level 5: £59.92
  • Level 6: £51.90
  • Level 7: £42.11 (1 other book can be purchase externally)

ICCE Enrolment Costs

The International Certificate of Christian Education (ICCE) exists to provide Christian qualifications at a high standard for students studying on the Accelerated Christian Education programme throughout the world. It is available to students wishing to use their studies on the Accelerated Christian Education programme from level 8 onwards towards a certificate through which they can seek to gain access to colleges, universities, and the workplace.


Fees:

  • General Certificate: £150
    This fee is also applicable to students wishing to study for the Basic, Foundation, or Vocational Certificates.
  • Intermediate Certificate: £75
  • Advanced Certificate: £100
