"It's so amazing to have schooling that is so underpinned with Scripture that you can bring that into everyday life. God has given me the patience I've needed, the strength I've needed, and I feel that as a family we've been blessed making that decision, so I would say to anyone thinking of homeschooling that God will bless you for making that decision, and that you will feel blessed by having your children around you and by seeing them grow up."

"I graduated with the ICCE Advanced Level in 2010 when I was seventeen, having taken the mathematics bias, and gained entry to Brunel University to study a master’s degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering in September that year. At university, I found the skills and principles I developed as a result of homeschooling extremely relevant, almost advantageous. Principles like goal setting, self-motivation and time-management are all qualities that are firmly set into a homeschooler’s mind
I enjoyed being homeschooled; studying at my own pace fuelled my independence and perseverance, while the home environment promoted spiritual growth and character building. It wasn’t all academic either, being flexible with school times meant music and sports training during the day, which allowed the family to have more time together after Dad got home from work, whether it was just ‘chilling’ or some DIY home improvement with him. This also meant we could get away for holidays and trips during off-peak times, although Mum insisted that we make up for the lost work time!"

"As an introvert who values her personal space, spending every day of my foreseeable future together with my children seemed too overwhelming. However, my husband and I were deeply convinced about the value and the importance of building our children’s education upon Christian foundations. While my boys learn the wonderful information their PACEs teach them, I also learn to trust that the gift of this Biblical foundation is the best thing I can give them.
One of the truths from God’s Word which keeps my soul anchored during this season is the Word which the Lord gave my mum when my own journey into Christian education began years ago, “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” Mark 8:36. It keeps me focused and grateful for this opportunity to train my children to be the people God has created them to be."

"God called us to home educate our children twelve years ago. Deuteronomy 6:4-9 and Isaiah 54:13 were the main Scriptures God gave us. Then, we attended a home educator’s camp, and the main theme was these two Scriptures. Later, God led us to TEACH and the ACE curriculum, which also had the very same Scriptures!
It has been a beautiful journey so far. It has been exciting, fulfilling and life changing. God has taught us and blessed us greatly because we obeyed his calling. It has been sacrificial and lonely at times but, our children are growing strong in the Lord and that is of greater worth than anything this world can give.”

I have been home educated since I was 6 years old and have enjoyed every minute of it. I thank God for speaking to my parents about home schooling my sister and me, as the blessings that I have received through this education have been tremendous. Each PACE that I have done during these past years as I completed the General Certificate have reminded me of God’s greatness and I have enjoyed learning the memory verses which has helped me to hide God’s word in my heart
One blessing that money cannot buy is the bond that home schooling brings within a family. I appreciate the wonderful times I spend with my parents, the many chats/discussions that I have with my mother, the fun I have with my sister during break times and the calm atmosphere that I can study in. Most importantly, I value the devotions that we have in the mornings and the opportunity to spend quality time with God.

From the age of three and a half I was home-schooled with the ACE curriculum and followed it right through to the completion of the Advanced Level. I am one of four siblings and I am so thankful the Lord led my parents to home-school us all.
I have seen the Lord make a way through in all I have done since finishing ACE. Since that first day when I started as an hourly carer, getting onto a university course and the great variety of placements which followed, I can testify of the caring hand of the Lord upon me.
I want to encourage all future ACE student graduates: set your mind on Christ and trust the Lord to lead you where He wants you to go for His glory! Nothing is too hard for the Lord and He will look after you as you commit your ways to Him.
